I cannot say THANK YOU enough to each and every person who trusted and supported Freedom Herbs.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce Freedom Herbs will not resume business operations after relocation.

Many factors contributed to this decision and I assure you, it was not taken lightly.

This brand has had its greatest success in person. It allows me to connect with you and in turn allows you, as the consumer, to test each product to ensure it's right for you. It also allows you to ask questions and get immediate responses from the cosmetic chemist (that's me) about ingredients, their functions, and the formulary process. I will not have the privilege to schedule or attend in-person events and markets as I have in the past.

Growing a business is hard enough, but moving and starting over has presented its own challenges. Tallow skincare is at its peak and I found myself having moved to a heavily saturated market. I couldn't relocate my herb garden. The cost of local, 100% grass fed suet (that will be rendered into tallow) is significantly higher here. Considering all of this, I would be forced to increase the price of my products which I will not do. We are all living in the same economy and part of my vision for this company was affordability.

Unfortunately, an online only model will not support this business due to the cost of the highest quality organic ingredients plus taxes, fees, and overhead. I do not mark my products up significantly, I absorb a portion of costs related to shipping and packaging to try and make it as affordable as possible, and I donate a large portion of any profit to others. As March begins, Texas has had multiple days of 85+ degree weather. With summer nearing, I can't imagine shipping product without compromising the integrity.

While not all, these are the main factors that have contributed to the decision not to resume. Again, I am so grateful for you supporting this small business. If you choose tallow skincare in the future, I encourage you to do your research and ask questions. As with anything else, not all tallow skincare is made the same.
